A plan that fits around classes, a bootcamp, or the job you still have
Set a target date if you have one (a made-up one is fine), and the goals size themselves to the hours you actually have. The stages are the same for everyone, and the pace is yours: some get through them in weeks, plenty take months.

Level set: a little practice, then one loop cold
The cold loop is the useful one. It will go badly somewhere, and the debrief will say where, which is the whole point of doing it before a recruiter is watching.
